LINKED - AUTISM SAFETY PROJECT

Orange Police Department has partnered with LINKED- Autism Safety Project.  Orange Police will be implementing voluntary registration forms, family emergency planning kits and keep our sensory kits within their police cruisers.

Linked is committed to building strong partnerships between the first responder and special needs communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the support and resources they need to stay safe in emergency situations. Through a combination of trainings, workshops, and resources, LINKED aims to increase awareness and understanding of autism and other developmental disabilities among first responders. We provide information on how to effectively communicate with individuals who may have difficulty understanding and responding to traditional emergency protocols.

Collaboration. Communication. Community.

A community partnership with municipalities created to provide a link between first responders & the special needs community.
